The room was very clean and comfortable. Our kids (ages 6, 8, and 10) had a great time playing catch and flying a kite in the open space in front of the house.We were able to relax as a family and truly enjoyed a wonderful holiday.We also appreciated the friendly communication with the host before the trip, and our children especially enjoyed interacting with the animals.

The bnb was beautiful and well taken care of. Kara was quick to respond and check in was a breeze. We around at 9pm and Kara got us into the tiny home sufficiently and the instructions were easy to follow. The lights around the property made it easy to find our tiny home and an easy walk from where we parked. My two kiddos 5 & 4 enjoyed the entire stay. We will be back soon!

Who knew tiny living could be this fun? The host thought of everything, and we loved the surprise animal interactions. My kids now want a goat. 10/10 would stay again (with or without livestock)!

What a gem! We absolutely loved staying at Paddy Garrett Place. The tiny home was cozy and full of character, and the ranch animals were the cherry on top! We woke up to roosters and watched the goats play in the evening—better than Netflix!

Tiny house, big fun! We loved our stay at the tiny house! Small place (duh) but exactly what we were expecting. It’s small on space but efficiently done and the decor and vibe were great! We were only a group of 2 but definitely could have been fine for a small family weekend. “Town” is just a quick drive and there are plenty of cool shopping spots and dining options! Our friends stayed at another tiny home on the property and theirs was large enough for a girls trip or a larger family!

Kara’s tiny home was a great stay for our family during thanksgiving. We loved how functional and surprisingly larger than expected the tiny home was. Kara was also very gracious and gave clear instructions on how to find the property and check in.

This was a great experience for our kiddos! They adored the animals and the friendly cats. We had some cold weather during our stay, but it was still nice enough for them to roam around and explore. With being a tiny home, it still had a great sized bathroom and the shower was great as well. We were supposed with a Kerig and coffee as well which was a bonus for sure.

We had a great stay! The kids loved all of the animals. It’s right at 30 minutes from Dinosaur Valley State Park and approximately 5 minutes to downtown Hico. Hico has lots of fun shops and restaurants. The house was clean, the beds were comfy (pillows… not so much), and the grounds were lots of fun. The kids enjoyed feeding the sheep, donkey, and Longhorns! I will say, if you plan to cook, the cookware is terrible; also not many cooking utensils. No grill at this house either, which seems essential to me for an Airbnb, but that’s just my opinion. Another thing, there was a burn ban while we were here, so we couldn’t have a fire in the community fire pit. Obviously, the hose cannot control this, but it’s just something to think about before you book and hope to have a fire provided every night you’re there. These are all minor items, but definitely should be considered! For a nice stay, don’t hesitate to book this tiny home! Overall, we had a great time!

Wonderful! As listed! All the amenities and instructions are exactly correct. To note – 1. This tiny home and the one next to it are next to the animal pen. There is a bright light so you can see the pathways – so if you’ve come out to stargaze it will provide a considerable amount of light pollution. Not bothersome but your eyes wont fully adjust. And will cause some pollution glare in a lens. We noticed the two cabins furthest away from the animal pen were the most dark and light free. 2. The property is very close to the highway so the cars sound loud driving by as their sound echoes into the empty plain next to the lot. At night there weren’t too many drivers so it wasn’t bad. And definitely not as noticeable if you’re inside the house (we were on the patio gazinnn) But if your plan is to have a completely quiet stay – just something to consider. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for being a great host K!

Watching the farm animals and kittens play adds to the relaxing setting. Hico is growing and provides a good place to eat, shop and explore. We would rent this property again!

Perfect for a quick get – away weekend! The home was immaculate and spacious with just two of us. We enjoyed being able to stay in the country yet just close enough to Hico for anything we needed.

This was our first Airbnb and our first tiny house. The host was amazing with communication and making sure we had the most accurate directions to get there. The house was clean and thoughtfully stocked with any items we may possibly need. We really enjoyed our stay.

This place was awesome! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our little girls loved sleeping in the loft area's, they thought the little home was amazing and scaled perfectly to their size. Waking up and being able to go feed/see the sheep, donkey & long horn made for a peaceful morning.

From the entrance to the ranch, you can tell that the hosts really care about your experience. Small things like lighted paths, hammocks, dart boards, animals, kittens etc make you feel at home. Tiny home #4 was awesome – it's brand new, extremely well appointed, well stocked and super clean. Our host Kara was on top of things with communication, asking if we needed anything – it was perfect. The location is amazing, less than a 5 minute drive to main square downtown Hico where all the shops and restaurants are. But the ranch is just far enough out of town, where you feel relaxed and away from everything that you were trying to escape in the first place. Highly recommend it!

If you are looking for a clean and safe place to stay this is it. The tiny house was super clean and had all the amenities we needed. It was peaceful and quiet during our stay. Visiting and feeding the animals was a huge hit with the kids. Kara was super attentive

Terrific little Airbnb!!! Only a few minutes from the heart of downtown Hico!! Kara has thought of every detail from your favorite drinks cold in the fridge to coffee, bathroom essentials and even bug spray!! I used the tiny home to spend someone on one time with my oldest daughter and two year old granddaughter the first night. Ruby loved the miniature donkey and sheep!! I thoroughly enjoyed coffee on the large wooden deck in the mornings listening to the beautiful peacefulness of nature and birds chirping! The Davis tiny home is very clean, brand new and has incredibly comfortable beds. The Davis tiny home feels very private as it is divided from the other tiny homes by beautiful oak tree foliage. Hico just the greatest little getaway town for the weekend with higher end boutique shopping and unique restraunts. This is a must for a great weekend getaway!

We spent the weekend in Hico, Texas and stayed in the Tiny Home village just outside of Hico. The Davis Tiny Home #4 is comfy and well furnished. We really enjoyed evenings and breakfast on the deck, watching the sheep and donkey. The house is fairly well secluded from other homes for some privacy. Kara and her husband were excellent hosts, with recommendations of places to see in the area and information about the property. Feeding the longhorns was a bonus. Thanks for a great weekend!

I love this beautiful Tiny Town. This tiny home is so wonderful, new and really big for being so tiny! First class all the way. Park and then a short walk through the beautiful woody ranch. Sheep’s “baaa” as you walk by. Just fantastic! You’ve got to come check this place out!

What an amazing place! The longhorns and sheep are so cool and made for great entertainment for the little ones who actually preferred outside time to watching TV or playing video games. The tiny home is brand new, comfortably furnished and provides all the amenities that makes us never want to stay in a hotel again. The ranch was quiet and very relaxing and we’ve already booked another visit with some friends for later in July. Tiny Town is awesome!

What a great trip! The tiny house experience was exactly what I was looking for. The GSD ranch is on a large property just a couple of miles outside of Hico. You can tell the owners really care about the property and the experience you have while you’re there. It’s unlike any other place I’ve been because there is so much space to walk around. You see an occasional worker because it is a working Ranch. But that adds to the whole experience. It’s just outside of Hico, TX. Hico is a small old west kind of town with lots of shops to visit & friendly people. I really felt like I had my own little place in the country. I will be back! Thank you Kara for being such a great host.

This was an amazing ranch stay! I feed the beautiful Longhorns cow cubes, watched the sheep play and had a great time in this modern decor Tiny Home. It's huge for being so tiny! Beds are so comfortable. I highly recommend. What a wonderful escape from the city! Kara was an awesome host.

Super clean and modern living space, could easily accommodate a small family. Comfortable couch with great natural lighting. Property is a working ranch with an easy, short walk to the units and spaced out nicely to permit quiet and privacy. Hico is small but growing with a bunch of shops, still ol’ town feel. Really cool atmosphere with restaurants or grocery in case you are cooking for yourselves. Wonderful, gem of a place – – can’t miss!

Kara was always responsive. My only gripe is not having wi-fi, especially when only 1-2 bars cell service is available. We couldn't even listen to streaming music.

It goes without saying that this place is small, but it was plenty big for three adults for the weekend. It is laid out well and we never felt on top of each other. Be aware that it is on a working ranch so you will experience things like farm animals and lots of free space (awesome!) but also other land characteristics like dirt, bugs and snake warnings. We didn’t have a problem with any of this (never saw a snake) but it is worth mentioning as it wasn’t something I considered when booking, though I should have… country land in Texas in summer…duh! Kara was very responsive and super easy to work with. She provided very clear instructions on finding the place and getting inside. My advice there would be to follow them literally… It may seem a little confusing at first, but it will make complete sense once you go through the steps. Overall, great stay! Would highly recommend if you’re ever in need of a weekend away in a quiet space and under the stars!
