Gather around the community fire pit for stargazing like you've never seen before, and enjoy the peaceful ambiance of the countryside or relax in a hammock and play a round of horse shoes! Vacation Your Way created Tiny Town to provide quick get-a-ways (estimated 1.5 hour drive) from DFW and other big cities around Texas so y’all can enjoy the ranch life at our unique vacation rentals.

OPPORTUNITY for GROUP STAYS:
If you are traveling with extended family or friends, please contact your host so that we can book your groups nearby each other. It's the perfect way to travel with others, you each have your own private space but your guests are nearby.. Tiny homes and cabins are spread apart on our many acres.

Next door is our Rockin' RV Park and Horse Motel--so bring your RV friends to enjoy our great hook-ups and RV amenities. Search for Rockin' K RV park to book. The Horse Motel is an amenity for Tiny Town too- if you bring a horse- let your host know to book the horse stall area, too!

Explore the historic town of Hico, just minutes away, where you can browse cool shops, enjoy a steak at the Chop House, or delve into history at the Billy the Kid Museum (we highly recommend it!). The new HiCO hall is the premiere wedding and concert venue in the area. For more family fun, nearby attractions like Fossil Rim Wildlife Center and Dinosaur World (Glen Rose) are perfect for a day trip.

With rustic decor, we think this 1 bedroom with loft cabin is where Rustlers planned their next cattle heist! Their secret gatherings are notorious!!

BEDROOM 1 = King
LOFT (stairs to loft) = Queen
Front Sitting Area= . Small couch and SmartTV (only room that gets WIFI)

Kitchenette: Sink, a 2-top burner, microwave, toaster , small refrigerator/freezer, keurig and K-cups, kitchen utensils and cookware.

Propane Grill outside Cabin 2 is shared with other guests

You may want to bring a flashlight if you arrive in the evening. (Umbrella will help when it’s raining)

Expect typical plants and insects as this is a ranch. It may be a muddy walk due to weather.

Kara's a Gem! Perfect Hico Getaway, Farm Fun, & Extras.

This cabin is as advertised and is in a great location for visiting Hico. All of the tourist things are just 2 – 3 miles away. Host was excellent at communcation and went above and beyond making us feel welcome with flowers in the cabin, a special treat in the refrigerator, allowing us to pick/eat peaches from her tree, and letting our girls help to feed the farm animals.

We worked hard to describe the wonderful Tiny Town accommodations well for guests to feel comfortable. We are so glad your expectations were met 🙂 please come again soon! We look forward to seeing you!

Tiny Homes, Big Comfort. Impressed by the Craftsmanship & Host!

Tiny Town isn't so tiny! The spaces are touted as tiny homes, but the homes are spacious despite their titles. Creature comforts is well planned as are the decorations, the living spaces and the use of every square inch. The craftsmanship was excellent in our little cabin and we were extremely impressed by the amenities. Freezing temperatures brought some challenges which were met quickly and head – on by Kara. Kara can improvise quickly and was checking in on us regularly with the freezing temperatures during our stay. We hadn't planned on cooking, however, we did and found everything that we needed.

Wonderful space for a mid week getaway. Close to Hico downtown, Glen rose, dinosaur attractions and more. Bed and pillows were comfy and kitchen had all necessities. Farm animals were an added bonus.

Don't Miss This Gem: Hico Retreat with Animals & Charm!

Amazing location that feels in the middle of nowhere yet is only minutes from downtown Hico. The cabin and grounds were immaculately kept, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The chickens, sheep, donkeys and cattle on the grounds were a welcome respite. It was also a joy to drink coffee in the morning on the steps with friendly and happy cats. Stay here!! You won’t be disappointed!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay! We stayed in Cabin 2, which was very clean and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable, and I loved the Keurig coffee maker! I would highly recommend this cabin and the hostess was very nice and communicated very well!

Nice little cabin that we stayed in to attend a wedding in Stephenville and to play disc golf at Dino Hills disc golf course – great location, unique setting with all the farm animals and dogs – would definitely stay here again ???? Kara's a Gem! Comfy Beds, Animals, & Problem-Solving Host

Terrific visit with a Grandkid. Loved the location, comfortable beds, farm animals and farm cats. We stayed in two accommodations: the Tiny Home #6 and Cabin #2. Tiny Home #6 was fun and had a very nice shower. We switched to the Cabin when I discovered that I had inadvertently booked an accommodation without WiFi, which I needed for a bit of office work. Our host quickly worked to switch us, saving our vacation. Cabin #2 is very, very rustic but was clean and had very comfy beds . And WIFI!. Really good host.
