The Salty Dog Lake House, a pet-friendly haven nestled along the Army Corps walking path that leads directly to the serene shores of Lake Lewisville and Stewart Creek Park. Whether you're launching a boat at the public launch or enjoying a lakeside picnic, this location offers the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. Hosted by Vacation Your Way!

Inside, you'll be captivated by the stunning saltwater aquarium in the living room, providing a tranquil backdrop to your stay. Dive into the newly remodeled in-ground pool or explore the cozy kid's sleeping loft, stocked with books and games to keep the little ones entertained.

Close by car: Lake Lewisville (3 minutes), Grandscape entertainment district (10 min) and Hawaiian Falls Water Park (10 min)

THE IN-GROUND POOL:
Pool is maintained with weekly service. We thank you for helping keep it sparkling by using brush/skimmer as needed for typical windy nature of TX and please check the filter and dump out as needed. There is also a hose provided to refill pool to top to keep filter working! Enjoy!!

BEDROOM 1:
King suite has a king bed, kid's fun sleeping loft with 2-twins and full bathroom.

BEDROOM 2 and 3:
The other side of this home is 2 bedrooms- a Queen in each room and a hall full bathroom. Queen bedroom 1 has a surprise- a secret chic speakeasy back room with large couch and TV for fun get-a-way chill time!

Huge living room with a large Salt water aquarium! And fun foosball game! Amazing to see these beautiful creatures to get you in a lake adventure mood!

KITCHEN: Microwave, oven, stove top, dishwasher, Drip coffee maker, K-cup coffee machine, utensils, dishes, and cups- plenty of pots and pans!

DINING ROOM: Dining room has brand new table with 6 chairs and 3 breakfast nook stools.and Fireplace in dining room is just aesthetic- it is not a working fire place.

BACKYARD: 6 young chairs, pool, outdoor dining table and chairs, fenced in

SPARKLING CLEAN: We pride ourselves on providing a clean, sanitized space for your comfortable stay.

EFFORTLESS ARRIVAL: Settle in immediately with fresh linens and towels already provided.

WELCOME Short Term Rentals and Month-to-Month MidTerm Rentals! Ask your host for details for monthly rates.

WIFI is speedy, excellent

Kid-Friendly Pool and Clean Spaces: A Family Win!

We enjoyed our stay at this house. There was a doll head sitting up inside one of the bowls in the cabinet (odd) and the gate was really hard to close. None of this reduces my star rating for this place because it was super clean inside and near the pool, beautiful fish tank, and the pool was just right not too deep or long for my children.

My wife and son really enjoyed the added touch of the fish tank and tracking what the starfish was doing. The pool was great and we were all able to enjoy it. Neighborhood is very safe and walkable. Everything we could want from shopping to dining was within a ten minute drive. Thank you Kara for letting us stay at your place!

Family Fun by the Lake: Fish Tank, Pool, and Park Paradise!

Property has a nice location, and the large fish aquarium is wonderful if you have small children. The property still needs a little updating and was missing some basic amenities, but the bedrooms and pool fit our family's needs well. There is also a wonderful walking path around a large lake and a huge park only about a 5 mins drive away with sand volleyball, fishing piers, picnic areas, kayaks, and many other things. The neighborhood seemed very safe and friendly.
